I’m a fan of the first two books, and while I wasn’t big on the main character being a little too lenient in the first book one, I was able to forgive that, especially since it didn’t really affect his end goal and he really continues to grow.Then, I read book two with the tournament and now this one with the tower climbing and I have to say, I’m all in!This book builds well on the characters that have been established, namely the bonded women, and adds some really fun characters (that may or may not join the rest of the bonded)In particular, I really enjoyed the addition of the super frisky fairy queen and the cyclops with pink hair. I found myself laughing several times throughout the book at the fairy’s antics.The steamy scenes are well done, and get quite… involved.I wish there would’ve been a little more time spent in the tower, as I am a big fan of tower climbing books, but I understand why the author chose to switch it up, and it makes sense plot wise and keeps the story moving forward.There are several twists toward the end, and while this one does not necessarily end on a cliffhanger, I have to read book 4 to find out what happens!Again, for a fresh take on the genre with fun dialogue, good action, exciting twists, and something different than the norm, I definitely recommend this one.
